Pearson VUE

Pearson VUE is an electronic testing company owned by British media company Pearson PLC. Founded in 1994 by E. Clarke Porter as Virtual University Enterprises, the company now operates in 165 countries with more than 5,000 authorized test centres.

Pearson VUE offers testing services across a number of industries, from academic to employment to government, for example the UK driving theory tests for the Driving Standards Agency and the official testing agency for the GMAT, Cisco Career Certifications, NCLEX, Oracle Corporation, CompTIA and Zend Certified Engineer exams.

The company delivers a high number of tests worldwide per year for clients in licensure, certification, academic admissions, regulatory, and government testing service markets. Pearson Professional Centers utilize a design specifically created for high-stakes testing with a controlled and consistent testing environment.

Pearson VUE is part of Pearson plc, a £5 billion company that is the largest commercial testing company and education publisher in the world. The primary Pearson VUE operations facilities are located in the United Kingdom, the United States, and India, with satellite operations in China and Japan.
